If two devices on your network have the same IP (e.g., another router or a static IP device), your browser won't reach the TP-Link. Unplug all other network devices except your PC and TP-Link router.

If you try 192.168.1.1 and it still doesn't work, here is a checklist:
The string 161.168.l.l looks almost correct, but it contains a critical typo. In IP addressing, all characters must be numbers (0-9) or dots (.) . You cannot use the letter "L".
Notice the difference: 161 vs. 192, and the letter l vs. the number 1. Because "L" is not a valid digit, your browser cannot parse this as an IP address. Instead, it treats it as a search term or throws a DNS error.
For TP-Link routers, the correct default IP address is almost always: 161.168.l.l tp link

If you changed the password and forgot it, you must factory reset the router by holding the reset button (pinhole) for 10 seconds.
Type this exactly into your browser’s address bar (not a search bar):

Note: For some TP-Link Archer or Deco models, the default may be
192.168.0.1. Check the sticker on the bottom of your router.
If your main computer fails, try a smartphone connected to Wi-Fi. Enter 192.168.1.1 in the mobile browser.
