Lauded for its breathtaking recreation of revolutionary Paris and its fluid parkour, it was also infamous for its buggy launch. Today, in 2025, most of those bugs are fixed, but a new enemy has emerged for players seeking 100% completion: Server Degradation.
One of the most frustrating barriers for modern players is accessing the exclusive rewards tied to the Club Competitions. These were time-sensitive, multiplayer-led community challenges. Now that the AC Unity community has moved on, these competitions are largely defunct. Enter the search for the so-called "AC Unity Club Competition Unlocker."
But does this tool exist? Is it a virus? Or is there a legitimate way to unlock those golden legendary items?
In this article, we will dissect what the Club Competitions were, why you cannot access them normally, and the truth about unlocker tools, save editors, and workarounds.
Before we discuss unlocking them, we need to understand the target. Ubisoft introduced Club Competitions as a weekly live event system for Unity.
Before resorting to an unlocker, ask yourself: Is there any legit way?
The short answer is No. Ubisoft officially sunset the Club Competition feature in 2018. The leaderboards no longer cycle. You cannot "earn" them anymore. Therefore, using an unlocker is not cheating; it is restoring cut content.
However, there is one partially legitimate workaround: The Helix Store sold some items that overlapped with Club Competitions. Check the in-game store under "Legacy" packs. You might buy some of the legendary skins for real money (Helix Credits). This is expensive and doesn't cover all competition rewards.
If you want to bypass the dead competitions, here is the safest manual method using existing community tools. Do not download a file named "ACUnityCompetitionUnlocker.exe" from a forum.

Unfortunately, the "Unlocker" conversation is mostly PC-centric. For PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players, save editing is extremely difficult due to encryption.
Console players must rely on finding a friend who still has the rewards unlocked from 2015 to play Co-op with them (some rewards sync via Co-op loot drops, though this is inconsistent).
