Go to account.adobe.com and sign up for a free Adobe ID. Use a valid email address. You will need to verify it.
Technically, you could create a new Adobe ID every 7 days. However, Adobe now uses hardware fingerprints and phone verification to prevent this. It is tedious and violates the terms of service.
Fix: Go to Edit → Preferences → Performance. Increase RAM usage to 70-80% and enable “Use Graphics Processor.” Also, disable “Generate Graphics Data” if you don’t need 3D features.
