By the time she faces Erika, she is literally vulnerable—yet unbreakable. The dub handles this by keeping the dialogue serious, refusing to wink at the audience.

The episode opens with a sharp contrast in lifestyle. On one side, we see Eri and the elite members of the Klan High School student council lounging aboard a private yacht, sipping champagne, and discussing their next "acquisition" of ancient undersea relics.
