AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake) es un remake completo de Metroid II: Return of Samus (Game Boy, 1991), desarrollado por DoctorM64 durante casi una década. Fue lanzado de forma gratuita en 2016, pero Nintendo emitió un takedown inmediatamente después del lanzamiento.

A pesar de ello, el juego ha seguido evolucionando gracias a parches de la comunidad (versión 1.5.2, 2.0, etc.), añadiendo: AM2R- Otro remake de Metroid 2 para Switch NSP ...
