You don't need to include additional libraries in your project. There are no dependency conflicts. In addition, RestFB is highly portable and can be used in both Android projects and normal Java applications.
Although we provide a standard implementation for our core components, each component can be replaced with a custom implementation. This allows RestFB to be easily integrated into any kind of project. Even Android projects are supported.
TThe RestFB API is really minimal and you only need to use one method to get information from Facebook and one to publish new items to Facebook. We provide default implementations for all the core components, so you can drop the jar into your project and be ready to go.
Our Facebook types are simple POJOs with special annotations. This configuration is designed for ease of use and can be used to define custom types very easily.
Newest Version of the
library is available from RestFB's home on Github.

RestFB is a single JAR - just drop it into your application and you're ready to go. Download it from

Magazines like Ananda Vikatan, Kumudam, and Aval Vikatan used to publish short, crisp family dramas. The "Anni" stories from this era focused on:
Many amateur writers ask: How do I write a viral Anni story? Here is a simple formula:
Step 1: Establish the Household Describe the house (a agraharam or a modern flat). Introduce the key players: The strict but loving Anna (elder brother), the sly but kind Anni, and the naive Thambi (younger brother).
Step 2: Introduce a MacGuffin A secret object—a mobile phone, a lost gold chain, a packet of biryani hidden from the diet-conscious brother. Anni Kamakathaikal
Step 3: Isolate the Characters Ensure Anna is out of town or asleep early due to work stress. The story happens between 10 PM and 2 AM.
Step 4: The Misunderstanding A noise. A shadow. A text message sent to the wrong person. The Thambi enters the Anni’s room by accident (thinking it is the bathroom in a power cut).
Step 5: The Resolution The secret is resolved with a promise. They share a cup of coffee. The reader is left with a smile (or a blush, depending on the genre). Magazines like Ananda Vikatan , Kumudam , and
| Theme | Description | |-------|-------------| | Secret Romances | The anni may have a paramour (often a wandering merchant, farmhand, or neighbor) while managing household duties. | | Rivalry between co-sisters | Younger nathoonar (brother’s wife) tries to expose the anni, but gets outwitted. | | Clever escapes | The anni uses wit to avoid getting caught when her husband returns unexpectedly. | | Food & desire | Shared meals, leftover sweets, or midnight kitchen scenes become metaphors for intimacy. | | Village idiots & wise fools | Stock characters like the gullible husband, the snooping mother-in-law, or the helpful maid. |
Note: These are not pornographic stories. They belong to the genre of folklore eroticism—playful, suggestive, and deeply rooted in rural life. Comparable traditions exist in many cultures (e.g., Boccaccio’s Decameron, Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales).
In recent years, the term Anni Kamakathaikal has been misused online for cheap sensationalism or explicit content. Authentic folk versions are not obscene—they are clever, earthy, and moralistic. If you encounter versions with graphic violence or degrading language, they are likely modern fabrications. Note: These are not pornographic stories
Anni Kamakathaikal are not for everyone—they require cultural sensitivity and an appreciation for folk humor. When understood correctly, they offer a fascinating glimpse into Tamil village life, female resilience, and the timeless art of storytelling.
Enjoy them as folklore, not as instruction manuals.
