Artcam File Viewer Verified Today

For users still holding a valid (expired) license of ArtCAM 2018, the software includes a built-in "Viewer Mode" that launches when a license is not activated.

⚠️ Note: Autodesk no longer distributes ArtCAM. Only use if you already own a legal copy.

Let’s use Carveco Viewer+ (the most widely verified tool).

Step 1: Download from the official Carveco website Avoid third-party mirrors. Carveco provides a direct link: /products/viewer-plus artcam file viewer verified

Step 2: Install and launch No license key required. The installer is digitally signed by “Carveco Ltd” – that’s your first verification.

Step 3: Click ‘File’ → ‘Open’ Change file type to “ArtCAM files (*.art, *.rlx, *.3d)”

Step 4: Select your legacy file Wait for the “Relief validation” checkmark to appear. This built-in scanner verifies checksums. For users still holding a valid (expired) license

Step 6: Export as STL or PNG (optional) Verified viewers often include export to standard formats (STL for 3D printing, PNG heightmap for CNC).

Workflow for conversion:

Warning: Never trust conversion tools that claim “direct .art to G-code” without verification. They skip the 3D simulation step, leading to tool crashes.

Right-click the installer .exe file > Properties > Digital Signatures tab.

Status: Conditionally Verified Some online tools claim to view .3d exports. We recommend only the “ArtCAM Verified” instance hosted by the CNC Archive. Never upload proprietary designs to random websites.
