Why is version 1.1 so critical? When BioShock launched in 2007, it came with a disgusting DRM called SecuROM, which had a limited activation policy. If you installed the game 5 times, you had to call customer support.

Version 1.1 (which the Elamigos repack includes patched in) did two things:

Without v1.1, the original game forces you into 4:3 aspect ratio. With v1.1, Rapture expands beautifully to your ultrawide or standard 16:9 monitor.
