You may come across files labeled “All Signature Takedowns Done” or “Silver Lake Crash 99M Points.” Some are genuinely achieved by expert players. Others are edited using PS2 Save Editor tools (like Burnout 3 Editor by user Nenkai).
If you only care about driving the fastest cars in Road Rage mode, edited saves work fine.
Save files are not cross-region compatible without hex editing.
