Chrysler J2534 Flash Application
The Chrysler J2534 Flash Application is the software interface provided by Stellantis that allows the reprogramming of Electronic Control Modules (ECMs) and other vehicle controllers using a generic J2534 pass-thru device.
Because of the EPA’s mandate (derived from the Clean Air Act), manufacturers are required to make their reprogramming software available to the aftermarket. This software creates a bridge between your shop PC and the vehicle’s OBDII port, allowing you to download the latest calibration files from the Chrysler server and "flash" them onto the vehicle.
Chrysler J2534 (also known as SAJ or Chrysler Reflash) is a protocol and software workflow used to reprogram (flash) vehicle ECU(s) using a J2534-compliant pass-thru device and manufacturer firmware files.
