If you use a crude bot to achieve Affiliate and start earning ad revenue or subs, Twitch has the legal right to claw back that money. The Terms of Service explicitly ban artificial inflation. There are documented cases of streamers receiving negative account balances after a bot ban, meaning they owe Twitch money.
Remember, "exclusive" doesn't mean "infinite." A crude script typically uses a pool of 500 to 2,000 proxies. If all 1,000 proxies connect to your channel simultaneously, Twitch sees one IP block (e.g., a specific AWS region) generating 1,000 connections to one endpoint. This is the easiest ban in the world for Twitch's security team.
This is the function. These are not general traffic bots; they are specifically designed to inject fake accounts into a specific Twitch channel’s stream player.
Twitch now issues device fingerprints. If you log into your dashboard while running the bot control panel, Twitch can hardware ban your PC’s unique signature. You may never be able to create a new channel from that computer again.
