fastboot.exe and your CWM .img.fastboot flash recovery cwm_filename.imgfastboot rebootStatus: HIGH RISK
Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache:
Cause: CWM version incompatible with your KitKat partition scheme (especially for emulated storage).
Fix: Cwm Recovery Download - For Android 4.4.2
Development stopped around 2014-2015. Most CWM users migrated to TWRP (Team Win Recovery Project) , which offers a touchscreen interface and better KitKat support (TWRP 2.7.x.x – 2.8.x.x). Open command prompt in the folder containing fastboot
If you can't find CWM: Use TWRP instead. It flashes the exact same ZIP files and is much easier to control. Status: HIGH RISK
Cause: Your device uses a touch-based CWM (e.g., PhilZ) but the touch driver is missing.
Fix: Use hardware buttons (Volume + Power). Or switch to non-touch CWM version.
