Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.20 2.21 -23.01.2025- -
A major community request was injecting AMD FSR 3 Frame Generation into the console versions. Unfortunately, Update 2.21 does not add FSR 3 to Xbox or PS5. CDPR community manager “Lilayah” posted on the official forums:
“We evaluated FSR 3 frame gen for consoles, but the input latency trade-off on 60hz displays was unacceptable. We’re leaving console upscaling on FSR 2.1 for now.”
PC players, however, can still use NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 Frame Gen or modded FSR 3 via external tools.
