• Additional Tasks: You may be asked to create a desktop shortcut. It is recommended to check this box. Click Next.
  • Installing: Click Install. A progress bar will appear. The core engine and library assets will be extracted.
  • Finish: Once complete, ensure the box "Launch D5 Render" is checked and click Finish.

    • Do not skip this step. Installing D5 Render 2.4 on an incompatible machine will result in crashes or a "Failed to initialize" error.

    Always download from the official D5 Render website to avoid malware or broken files.

    Click "Install" . The process will take 5–10 minutes depending on your drive speed. You will see a progress bar with file extraction and registry entries being written.

    By default, assets stream online. For offline stability, go to Menu > Settings > Asset Management and download the "Base Asset Pack" (≈8GB). This ensures foliage, humans, and basic materials work without an internet connection.

    Critical Note: D5 Render 2.4 does not officially support AMD Radeon GPUs or Intel integrated graphics due to ray tracing dependencies.
