This is the biggest reason. macOS Catalina (10.15) and later require all software to be 64-bit. If you rely on classic software—old games, professional audio plugins (VST/AU), legacy design tools, or corporate software—Mojave is your final compatible stop.

This DMG contains the base system and is used by Apple’s restore process – but it’s not a complete installer DMG for end users.
Re-download the DMG. Large downloads over 4GB can corrupt. Use a wired Ethernet connection to ensure file integrity. If you need a single, bootable DMG for

This DMG can be shared or stored, but to install Mojave on another Mac, you must open the DMG, copy out the .app, and run it.
