Do not go to "driver-family-download-2024.com." Go to the official source:

Alternatively, if the official site is slow, the driver is mirrored on GitHub under "CH341-parallel-driver" โ€“ but verify the SHA256.

Driver Version to look for: 3.5.2021.06 or newer.

Some advanced users have successfully used the ASMedia 1153E driver (version 3.4.6.0 or newer) with EZP2023 by manually editing the hardware ID in the INF file. This is not for beginners, but it can yield slightly lower latency.

Once the WinUSB driver is installed via Zadig, use these applications (they work best with this driver):

| Software | Best For | Notes | | :--- | :--- | :--- | | AsProgrammer (v2.1.0+) | 24/25 series EEPROM, SPI Flash | Open source, actively maintained, works flawlessly with WinUSB driver | | NeoProgrammer | BIOS chips, advanced ICs | Fork of AsProgrammer with better chip database | | FlashROM (command line) | Advanced users, scripting | Supports WinUSB backend |

For USB 3.0, they are comparable. The RTL9210B supports NVMe and USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps), but the EZP2023 is strictly SATA and USB 3.0. For a SATA SSD, the EZP2023 is perfectly fine with the right driver.
