  • Copy found patches with search to a directory you want.
  • Double click on a patch will automatically launch a patch into Variax Workbench in editor mode if installed (sometimes Workbench need be started manually, patches will then load automatically).
  • Latest opened patch directory will be saved.
  • Added print options for your Workbench bundle
  • Added print options fro your Tone Collection files
  • Does not wite to registry
  • Very small exe <100k
  • No DLL's needed
  • Can be run from USB Stick
  • Workbench is not needed to show information of patches.

Thanks go out to Cor de Visser, he made this freeware program and already made adjustments to it. Read the readme-file inside the Winzip package for more info.

Download the Winzip file, unzip it, open Workbench and run VPIM, seach for your patch directory and let VPIM do the search for you...

Guitarport Remote... 15-11-05

Guitarport Remote Logo

While using the Guitarport application you sometimes would like to be able to switch between different tones and / or use it as a MIDI controller. Patrick Julien made a program to do just that.

This software has not been developed by Line 6. It was not sanctioned by Line 6. This software is distributed as freeware. There is no guarantee with this software.

How to use GP Remote:

  • Open your GuitarPort software
  • Start GP Remote.
(If you see "GuitarPort Preset:" and the name of the preset loaded in your GuitarPort software, communication between apps is fine)

MIDI Controller User:

  • Config the MIDI port used by your controller (Options...MIDI Controller Devices).
Make sure no MIDI controller is configured in GuitarPort (in Edit...Preferences...MIDI).

To map a preset to a trigger (Keyboard or MIDI controller ProgramChange command)

  • Click on Map New Trigger.
  • Press a key or send a ProgramChange or Controller command from your MIDI controller.
  • Select a preset in your GuitarPort software.
  • Click Add.

To modify an existing preset:

  • Right click on it and select Edit Preset or just Double click on it.
  • To change the preset associated with this Trigger, click on the button that shows the name of the current GuitarPort preset. (If you change the Preset in your GuitarPort, the button will update itself)
  • Click modify and the preset will be updated in your Trigger mapping window.

To use a sequencer(like Cubase) to change GuitarPort preset automatically:

  • Install a Virtual MIDI Port software (like LoopBe1, search Virtual MIDI Port on Google).
  • Select this virtual device as a controller in GuitarPort Remote (Options...MIDI Controller Devices).
  • Select the same virtual device in your sequencer as MIDI out device.
  • Send a ProgramChange command (Midi Channel 0 should be fine, Report to your Sequencer docs to do that)

The software is free to download and use for everyone, but be nice and pay respects and pay a visit to his website and read. Patrick thanks for the work and enjoyment for all.

The program itself is a zipped file, that you need to 'unzip' and install, read the readme file, or above here for further instructions.

V Stomp for Guitarport... 07-05-05

Fifa 2005 Pc Download

There are a lot of Guitarport users out there, one of them is Line 6 Man, a die hard Line 6 fan. He was fiddling around with his gear and discovered a way to have the stompbox feauture in Guitarport change from pre to post. Allthough many would prefer it to be in pre maybe some would like this feauture.

You can use Guitarport and V stomp at the same time. When V Stomp is activated, set the midi out port to guitarport, and use the big button to set it pre/post. Underneath a software overview

Nearly 10 years ago I wrote an application to allow Roland GP-100 users to view their settings in a simple text display.   Now I've gone and done it all again, this time for PODxt users.   PodScope is a Windows application that allows you to view your PODxt settings as text, print them, add notes, and share them with other users.

Here's a screenshot ...

Fifa 2005 Pc Download

Installation

  • Read the disclaimer at the bottom of this page first
  • Download it
  • Extract all files in the zip to any directory and then run setup.exe
  • When completed, you can safely delete the installation files

How To Use

Use PodScope to get your settings via MIDI , or open a PODxt System Exclusive file (plenty of these on the net ;-).   You can request and view any of the PODxt settings: current patch, a nominated patch, all channels, amp setups or FX setups.

Use the dropdown list to select different patches, if you've loaded more than one.

Click the Notes button to add notes to a patch (they're listed at the bottom of the view area)

Save to save your settings & notes as text - there are 2 file type options:
(1) Plain Text is probably best for copying into emails and user forums
(2) Rich Text is best for viewing later in a word processor

Click Print to print your settings and notes (did I mention it's intuitive?)

Click Options to customise your display options

The Definition File

  • I've tried to keep the application as generic as possible, so it uses a definition file (PodScope.def) to load model names, describe how sysex data is interpreted, show how values are presented, etc.   This will also allow easy upgrades as POD firmware is improved (post EQ maybe, hint hint ;-), and also other languages can be supported to a reasonable extent.

System Requirements

Windows 95 and above only

PODxt only (but if someone would like to buy me a Vetta ... ;-)

The supplied definition file supports PODxt version 1.04, although it will work with older versions, showing the version 1.04 model names (changing Rectifier to Threadplate is the only one I'm aware of).

Testing & Plans

This is version 1.0 Beta, so at this early stage, I'm interested mainly in removing any bugs you may find.

Please with the word "PodScope" in the subject. I expect to release version 1.0 soon, with no known bugs, and at least with its current functionality.

I don't plan to develop this into a graphical editor or librarian.

I am considering other features such as saving settings back into your POD over MIDI, and also a CSV file format so users can export text settings into a database.

Download PODScope V1.0 Beta

The first download needs to include many support files (some of which you probably already have on your PC anyway).   Updates will be *much* smaller.

Fifa 2005 Pc Download

Since FIFA 2005 was built for Windows XP, you may need to:

Launch fifa2005.exe as administrator. If you see a black screen, alt-tab out and back in, or run in windowed mode by adding WINDOWED=1 to the .ini.

Here is the most critical part of this guide. FIFA 2005 is abandonware—EA Sports no longer sells it digitally, and it is not available on Steam, Origin (EA App), or GOG. However, this does not mean all downloads are legal or safe.

Absolutely—with caveats.

If you are a retro gaming enthusiast, a football historian, or someone tired of FOMO-driven Ultimate Team packs, then FIFA 2005 offers a pure, unadulterated football experience. The career mode alone provides dozens of hours of entertainment, and the modding community ensures you are not stuck with 2004 kits.

However, if you are not comfortable applying compatibility fixes, finding No-CD patches, or editing .ini files, you may find the process frustrating. But for those willing to spend 30 minutes troubleshooting, the reward is one of the most beloved sports games ever made.

Buy a used copy on eBay or Amazon (typically $5–$15). The original CD-ROM works, but it uses SafeDisc DRM, which Microsoft disabled after Windows 8. You will need:

Because SafeDisc is broken on modern Windows, you need a patched fifa2005.exe (usually around 8 MB). Download this only from a trusted abandonware site's forum section. Replace the original .exe in your installation folder.

Once you secure a FIFA 2005 PC download (ISO or folder), follow this guide:

Revisiting a Classic: FIFA Soccer 2005 on PC FIFA Soccer 2005 (also known as FIFA Football 2005

) stands as a pivotal entry in EA Sports' long-running franchise. Released in late 2004, it was designed to get a head start on its rivals and introduced several features that became staples of the series. For fans of retro sports gaming, downloading and playing this title today offers a nostalgic look at the "Golden Era" of football simulations. Key Features and Gameplay Innovations The "First Touch" System:

This was the game's headline innovation. It allowed players to perform real-life tricks and passes immediately upon receiving the ball, adding a layer of strategic depth and realism to the 3D soccer gameplay. Expanded Career Mode:

Building on previous iterations, FIFA 2005 featured an improved 15-season Career Mode, giving players more control over their team's long-term success. Create-a-Player:

The fan-favorite mode returned, allowing users to build their own athletes and lead them to glory. Authenticity:

The game included the full Mexican League for the first time and featured a soundtrack headlined by Paul Oakenfold, who composed a unique "FIFA Theme" for the title. System Requirements for PC

Because this is a classic title, it runs easily on modern hardware, though it was originally built for the following minimum specs: Minimum Requirement Operating System Windows 98/ME/2000/XP 700 MHz Intel Pentium III or equivalent 128 MB RAM (256 MB for Windows XP/2000) 32 MB DirectX 9.0b compatible 3D accelerated video card ~800 MB free hard disk space Where to Find and Download

As a legacy title, FIFA 2005 is no longer sold on primary digital storefronts like Steam or the EA App. However, it is preserved in various digital archives:

This guide covers everything you need to know about setting up and playing on your PC. 1. Getting the Game

    Additional Resources

We hope you enjoy playing FIFA 2005 on your PC!

First Touch Control System: This was the flagship addition, allowing players to perform immediate tricks, passes, or directional layoffs the moment the ball reached them. It added a layer of realism and fluidity previously unseen in the series.

15-Season Career Mode: Unlike previous shorter iterations, this version introduced a full 15-season trajectory where you manage club finances, sign players, and upgrade backroom staff such as scouts and medical teams.

Create-a-Player Tool: Fans saw the return of a robust player creation system. You can customize facial features (eyes, cheek shape), accessories, and playing abilities from scratch.

Comprehensive League Licensing: It was the first title to feature the full Mexican League and included over 25 officially licensed leagues, including the English Football League's lower tiers (Championship, League One, and League Two). System Requirements for PC Since FIFA 2005 was built for Windows XP,

If you are looking to run the game on legacy hardware or through emulation, here are the official specifications provided by PCGamingWiki and TechSpot: Minimum Requirement Recommended (XP/2000) Operating System Windows 98/ME Windows 2000/XP Processor 700 MHz Intel Pentium III Memory (RAM) Graphics 32 MB DirectX 9.0b compatible Storage 350 MB Free Space Installation and Digital Preservation

Because FIFA 2005 is no longer sold on modern storefronts like Steam or the EA App, players often rely on community archives:

Digital Archives: Full disc images for historical preservation can be found on the Internet Archive and specifically the multi-language PC version.

Installation Steps: According to the FIFA 2005 Installation Guide on Scribd, the process typically requires an "Autorun" setup where you enter a serial key found on the original physical case.

Manuals & Documentation: If you need help with controls or tactics, the full Windows manual is available for reference.

FIFA Soccer 2005 for PC is widely regarded as a significant transitional title that introduced more realism and fluid physics to the series. While it was praised at launch for its "First Touch" system and improved ball independence, modern retrospectives highlight it as a "time capsule" of straightforward football before the era of microtransactions. Key Gameplay Features

First Touch Control: A major innovation at the time, allowing you to use the right analog stick to flick the ball into space as you receive a pass, making you immediately ready for your next move.

Ball Physics: For the first time in the series, the ball became an independent entity not "magnetically attached" to a player's foot, leading to unpredictable deflections and more realistic passing.

Expanded Career Mode: A 15-year mode where you start in lower leagues to build your prestige. While praised for its depth, some reviewers found it lacked a user-friendly interface compared to modern standards.

Authenticity: Includes over 25 leagues and thousands of officially licensed players, teams, and real-world stadium atmospheres. Visuals and Audio

Graphics: Reviews are mixed; some at the time called it "great-looking," while others noted it was a clear console port with blurry textures on high-resolution PC monitors.

Audio: Highly praised for its legendary commentary duo, John Motson and Ally McCoist, and a diverse "world music" soundtrack featuring 38 tracks. System Requirements

The game is extremely lightweight by today's standards but may require compatibility adjustments for modern versions of Windows. CPU: 700 MHz Intel Pentium III or equivalent. RAM: 128 MB (256 MB recommended for Windows XP/2000). Storage: 1.2 GB free space. GPU: 32 MB VRAM, DirectX 9.0b compatible. Download and Availability FIFA Soccer 2005 Review for PC - GameFAQs

FIFA Football 2005, developed by EA Canada and published by EA Sports, remains a cornerstone of sports gaming history. Released in October 2004 for Windows PC, it bridged the gap between arcade-style football and the more nuanced simulations seen in modern titles like EA Sports FC. Core Gameplay and Features

The defining feature of FIFA 2005 was the "First Touch" control system, which significantly altered how players interacted with the ball. This mechanic allowed for realistic traps, flicks, and immediate redirection of the ball upon reception, making world-class players feel distinct from average ones based on their technical skill.
