I’m currently running FL Studio Producer Edition 20.7.1 Build 1773 on a mid-range laptop (Windows 10, i7, 16GB RAM). I know there are newer versions out, but I’ve hesitated to update because my current workflow is heavy on Kontakt libraries and older VSTs. FL Studio 20
I’ve noticed that this specific build (1773) runs incredibly smooth for about 80% of my work, but I’m starting to see CPU spikes when I push the mixer past 60 instances.
Has anyone compared this specific build against the newer FL 21 updates regarding CPU efficiency? I’ve heard mixed things about the newer versions having better multicore handling but worse plugin scanning issues.
