Unlike some vendors that leave BIOS update utilities in the system tray permanently, Fujitsu’s utility does not auto-start services. It must be deliberately run. Mitigation: From version 2.3.0 onward (released 2021), the utility requests a dynamic challenge-response from the TPM 2.0 before allowing a flash. If the PCR7 (Secure Boot policy) has been tampered, the utility aborts.
