The only consistent criticism is the user interface, which remains functional but utilitarian. The developers have acknowledged this and stated that a UI refresh is planned for the next major update.

Solution: Portable mode stores settings in an .ini file within the same folder. If you run it from a read-only drive (like a CD-ROM), nothing will be saved. Copy the folder to your desktop first.
