CLEO scripts generally do NOT work on a default GTA SA v2.00 installation.

Version 2.00 (often found on physical DVDs or newer Rockstar Launcher updates) has protections that prevent third-party scripts from running. Simply dragging files into the folder will crash your game.

The Solution: You must "Downgrade" your game to v1.0 or use a specific "Compact" version of the CLEO library designed for v2.00. We cover both methods below.

With CLEO installed for v200, launch the game normally. You won’t see a "CLEO" menu. Instead, the mods activate automatically based on keypresses or conditions.

For GTA San Andreas v2.00 on Android, installing a CLEO script pack (often distributed as a zip file) allows you to use over 200 cheats, including vehicle spawning, weather control, and mission skips.  Installation Guide 

Because modern Android versions (11–15) restrict access to the Data folder, you need specific tools to bypass these limitations.  Download Required Tools ZArchiver: Essential for extracting the script zip files.

Shizuku: Required on Android 11+ to grant file managers access to restricted game folders.

CLEO-Supported APK: Version 2.00 requires a modded APK that has the CLEO library built-in, as the standard Play Store version does not support these scripts. Extract the Scripts Open ZArchiver and locate your downloaded scripts zip file.

Navigate to: Internal Storage/Android/data/com.rockstargames.gtasa/.

Copy all extracted .cs files directly into the com.rockstargames.gtasa folder.

Note: Some scripts may require a subfolder named cleo or sa within that directory depending on your specific APK version. Activate in Game Launch the game.

Once in-game, swipe down quickly from the top-center to the bottom-center of your screen to open the CLEO menu.
