This paper presents the first public firmware analysis of the J8003e (firmware version X.08.10). Using static binary analysis, we identify undocumented debug interfaces, hard-coded credentials, and a remote buffer overflow in the LPD daemon. We propose a method for extracting, emulating, and patching the firmware without specialized hardware.
