Husqvarna Autocheck 3 ✦ Works 100%

When Autocheck was first introduced, there was skepticism among "old school" loggers who feared electronics would fail in the harsh, wet, vibrating environment of logging.

However, Husqvarna has ruggedized the Autocheck 3 module extensively. It is sealed against moisture and vibration tested to extreme standards. The consensus in the forestry community is now largely positive: the system provides more power, better fuel economy, and cleaner emissions than a traditional carburetor setup could ever achieve.

Lithium-ion battery packs are made of individual cells. If one cell drifts out of alignment with the others, the entire pack behaves poorly. The Autocheck 3 provides a voltage readout for every single cell group inside the BLi battery. If the variance exceeds 0.1 volts, the battery is flagged for rebalancing or replacement. You might be thinking, "My old saw didn't need a computer to cut wood." That’s true, but the Autocheck 3 system solves several problems that plague traditional carburetor engines.

Without AC3: Returned tools tested only before next rental. Intermittent faults cause customer complaints.
With AC3: Each tool uploads health report after every rental. Only tools with health score >85 go back to fleet.

Important Note: The Autocheck 3 does not work with older NiCad or lead-acid batteries. It is strictly for the modern lithium-ion ecosystem. Furthermore, it cannot diagnose the gasoline engine of a Husqvarna 450 Rancher—that requires a different diagnostic tool (the AutoTune interface).
