However, Husqvarna has ruggedized the Autocheck 3 module extensively. It is sealed against moisture and vibration tested to extreme standards. The consensus in the forestry community is now largely positive: the system provides more power, better fuel economy, and cleaner emissions than a traditional carburetor setup could ever achieve.
Lithium-ion battery packs are made of individual cells. If one cell drifts out of alignment with the others, the entire pack behaves poorly. Important Note: The Autocheck 3 does not work with older NiCad or lead-acid batteries. It is strictly for the modern lithium-ion ecosystem. Furthermore, it cannot diagnose the gasoline engine of a Husqvarna 450 Rancher—that requires a different diagnostic tool (the AutoTune interface).
