Lustful Victor is an experimental narrative‑driven adventure game that blends puzzle‑solving, exploration, and mature thematic storytelling. Set in a stylised neo‑noir cityscape, the player assumes the role of Victor, a charismatic yet conflicted detective whose investigations lead him into the city’s hidden underbelly. The game’s core focus is on psychological intrigue, moral ambiguity, and character‑driven drama, with mature themes handled in a suggestive, non‑graphic manner.
The purpose of this document is to outline the game’s vision, mechanics, narrative structure, artistic direction, technical architecture, production schedule, and marketing strategy for the initial v0.1 prototype.
NeonByteStudio has built a reputation for combining synthwave neon aesthetics with gothic medieval designs. Lustful Victor is no exception. Character sprites are highly expressive, with dynamic lighting that shifts based on location—from the sickly green glow of the plague doctor’s clinic to the pulsing violet neons of The Crimson Warrens’ brothels.
The v0.1 soundtrack, composed by independent artist Void Tracer, features 12 ambient tracks that blend darkwave, industrial, and classical harpsichord. It sets an appropriately uneasy yet seductive tone.
We’ll release a small hotfix (v0.1.1) within a week.
Even in v0.1, four distinct love interests are available:
