Both sides assemble their armies. The episode 68 focuses on Arjuna’s moral crisis on the first day—the famous Vishada Yoga (Chapter 1 of Bhagavad Gita). Krishna delivers the sacred sermon, teaching Arjuna about duty, immortality of the soul, and Nishkama Karma (action without attachment). Episode 70 ends with the conches blowing: Panchajanya (Krishna), Devadatta (Arjuna), and Paundra (Bhima).
Duryodhana accuses Bhishma of favoring the Pandavas. Enraged, Bhishma vows to kill all five Pandavas by dawn. Krishna realizes the only way to stop Bhishma is to place Shikhandi (who was born a woman and later became a man—the cause of Bhishma’s original celibacy conflict) before him. On the 10th day, Bhishma lowers his weapons seeing Shikhandi. Arjuna shoots arrows, piercing Bhishma’s body. The grandsire lies on a bed of arrows, waiting for the auspicious moment of death (Uttarayana). Mahabharat Episode 1 To 94 Star Plus
