Cp Folder Top - Mega

The mega cp command in MEGAcmd (MEGA’s official command-line interface) is used to copy files or folders between local storage and your MEGA cloud, or within the cloud itself. The syntax mega cp folder top refers to copying a local folder named folder to the top (root) directory of your MEGA cloud account.

To copy a large folder while preserving the top-level folder: mega cp folder top

Copying from the top ensures the entire nested folder hierarchy remains intact. The receiving end will see an exact mirror of the source, including empty subfolders and file permissions (where supported). The mega cp command in MEGAcmd (MEGA’s official
