For years, Mangini guarded RK aggressively. When he taught at Berklee College of Music and later at his private studio, he provided students with a physical binder—the "Purple Book" (named for its purple cover). This binder contained handwritten charts, grid exercises, and the famous "Infinity Grid."
Is there an official PDF? No. Mangini has explicitly stated that he does not authorize a digital, downloadable PDF to prevent the dilution of the method. He wants teachers to explain the concepts behind the grids, not just hand out sheets of numbers. He believes that without the verbal explanation of the "Kinesthetic Visual" system, the grids are just confusing geometry.
