A quick Google search for "Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks download PSP" will lead you to dozens of suspicious websites claiming to have a "converted PSP ISO" or "CSO" file.
Do not download these.
Here is why:
If a website claims to have a direct PSP port of Shaolin Monks, report it as a scam.
Could a fan-made port ever happen? In theory, a homebrew developer could attempt to decompile the PS2 source code and rebuild the game for PSP, but this is a monumental task. The PSP’s 333 MHz CPU and 64 MB of RAM are far below the PS2’s 294 MHz (but with much higher bandwidth and vector units).
Verdict: Never say never, but don’t hold your breath. The Mortal Kombat community is more focused on modding the PC version of MK9 or MK11. Your best bet remains emulation on a stronger device.
If you want the beat ’em up, hack-and-slash gameplay of Shaolin Monks (isometric camera, light/heavy attacks, finishers), the God of War PSP titles are the next best thing. They lack fatalities but deliver similar visceral action.
