Need For Speed Carbon Collectors Edition 100 Save Game Review

If you’re using the EA App or Origin version:

Extract the downloaded archive. You will typically see one or two files: Need For Speed Carbon Collectors Edition 100 Save Game

Copy these into the Documents\Need for Speed Carbon Collector's Edition\ folder. If you’re using the EA App or Origin

If the save uses a different slot number (e.g., Career_03.NFSMS), rename it to Career_01.NFSMS (overwriting your backup). Copy these into the Documents\Need for Speed Carbon

Before downloading, it’s crucial to understand what “100%” truly means for this specific edition. A genuine Collector’s Edition 100% save file should contain:

  • All Rewards & Bonuses: Maximum cash (often $1,000,000+), all autosculpt parts unlocked, all performance upgrades unlocked, all special vinyls (including the Collector’s Edition exclusive vinyls).
  • Challenge Series: All 50+ Challenge Series events completed (this is a major differentiator from standard edition saves).
  • Quick Race: All tracks and car classes available.
  • Important Note: A standard Need for Speed: Carbon save file is not compatible with the Collector’s Edition. The game IDs are different. If you install a standard save, the Collector’s Edition will either corrupt it or not see it at all.

The most difficult part of Carbon is the Canyon Duels. A true 100% save file will have earned every bonus card related to the canyon, meaning you completed both the "Drift" and "Race" variants of each canyon track—including the final 14-km dash against Darius in his Audi Le Mans Quattro (CE exclusive).
