Ozone Imager 2 shines brightest when paired with its big brothers: Neutron and Ozone 11.
A circular Lissajous display visualizes the stereo image in real time. It shows exactly how width adjustments affect the spatial relationship of your sound — from a narrow vertical line (mono) to a wide horizontal spread.
Ozone Imager 2 is a free stereo imaging plugin used in audio production, mixing, and mastering. It is the "lite" version of the Imager module found in iZotope’s flagship Ozone mastering suite. Despite being free, it has become an industry standard tool due to its visual feedback and precise control over the stereo field.
Its primary function is to visualize the stereo width of an audio signal and allow the user to widen or narrow that width. It is available in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats, making it compatible with almost all major Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs).
Pads are the perfect candidate for stereo widening.
Two independent faders allow you to adjust the gain of the Mid (center) and Side (edges) channels.
