Posend Access

Standard SQL databases do not natively support posend. You have three options:

Consider a port container yard. A crane operator moves a container from the vessel to a truck. The operator scans a barcode. With posend, the moment the scan posts to the yard management system, the gate system automatically sends an alert to the truck driver’s mobile device. There is no lag, no forgotten manual email, and no double-scanning.

What happens if the send acknowledgment is lost in transit (not the send itself, but the ACK)? The source system assumes failure and rolls back the post, even though the downstream system actually received the message. This creates a phantom ack loss scenario. You need a reconciliation sweeper that periodically checks for such ghosts. posend

We are drowning in notifications. Our attention spans are being mined for profit. In a world of DMs and @mentions, the most radical, rebellious, and romantic act you can commit is to Posend.

So go ahead. Close the laptop. Lick an envelope (use a sponge, please, for your health). Drop it in the blue box. Standard SQL databases do not natively support posend

Make someone’s day heavy. Heavy with paper, heavy with love, heavy with the weight of knowing someone took the time to go to the mailbox for them.

Posend isn’t old fashioned. It’s the future. ✉️ Do you have a Posend story

Surprisingly, posend can reduce network traffic by 20–30%. Traditional post-then-send systems often require confirmation pings ("Did you get the send from my post?"). Posend bundles the confirmation handshake into the initial protocol, eliminating redundant round trips.

If you decide to migrate a service to a posend architecture, follow these steps.

The term first appeared in technical documentation for blockchain-based supply chain management systems around 2019. It was coined by developers working on cross-border trade finance who needed a word to describe "posting a smart contract state and sending proof to counterparties in one block." Since then, posend has been adopted by cloud ERP vendors and API-first logistics platforms.
