Do not download language packs from random file-hosting links or forums without verification.

This includes subtitles, menu text, UI elements (health bar labels, upgrade descriptions), and pause screen text. These are stored in .tex or .lang files within the localization directory. Without this, you might have English voices but Russian pause menus.

You will find dozens of YouTube videos promising a "10 MB English Patch." Be careful. Many of these are just virus launchers. Prototype 2's voiceovers are nearly 2 GB in size. If the file isn't at least 1.5 GB, it is not a real language pack—it's malware.
