The New House and the Neighbor Dong-won invites his colleagues to a housewarming party to celebrate his new purchase. While the party is ongoing, heavy rain begins to fall. Annoyed by the leakage, Dong-won goes next door to complain to his neighbor, Jung Man-soo, who lives in the identical villa next door.
Man-soo is a peculiar, stubborn man who works hard to save money, doing whatever odd jobs he can find. The two neighbors do not get along well initially due to their contrasting personalities.
