Sunplus Loader Info

Unlike modern smartphones with dedicated recovery partitions, generic Sunplus devices store everything in one NAND flash block. If a firmware update fails, the USB disconnects mid-transfer, or the battery dies during a write operation, the device loses its "boot finder." The chip is not dead—it is waiting for instructions. The Sunplus Loader provides those instructions via USB Vendor ID 0x04f2 (Sunplus Technology Co., Ltd).


1. Connect USB-to-TTL adapter to PC → COM5
2. Connect adapter to target: TX→RX, RX→TX, GND→GND
3. Set target boot mode: short BOOT0 to 3.3V, press reset
4. Launch Sunplus Loader
5. Select COM5, 115200 baud
6. Load firmware.bin
7. Click "Download"
8. Observe progress: Erase → Write → Verify
9. Remove boot jumper, reset device
