If you cannot use external devices, the actual game disc contains two unintentional "cheats":

Through trial and error, the SRW Alpha 2 community has identified several codes that look tempting but will destroy your save file. super robot wars alpha 2 cheat code

Rule of thumb: If a code modifies Event Flags or Scenario Progression, avoid it. Stick to Funds, PP, Items, and Unit Swaps.

Note: These codes are for the standard Japanese release (SLPS-25400).

Spirit commands like “Alert,” “Focus,” and “Soul” cost SP. Infinite SP lets you use them every turn. Not recommended early-game – it removes challenge
