The Nsp File Is Missing A Program-type Nca Today

This is the most common cause by a landslide. New users often download files named Update_v1.2.nsp or The_Legend_of_Zelda_DLC.nsp and try to install them via Tinfoil.

Neither contains a "Program" NCA. They are modifiers that require the base game's Program NCA to already be installed. When the installer scans the NSP and finds no Program ticket, it throws this error.

Verdict: If the file size is under 3GB (for a modern game) or mentions "Update/DLC" in the name, you have found the culprit. the nsp file is missing a program-type nca

If you have the base NSP and the update NSP separately, install them in order:
