Check the Driver Type: Determine if your printer uses TMC2225 (silent/quiet) or A4988 (louder) stepper drivers. Installing firmware for the wrong driver will cause the motors to jitter or not move at all.

This is the most critical section of this article. If you flash the wrong firmware, you will brick your printer.

Tronxy has silently revised the XY-2 Pro several times. There are currently three major hardware variants. You must open the electronics case (the box underneath the build plate) and visually inspect the motherboard. Option B: Community Marlin Firmware (The Gold Standard)

The XY-2 Pro uses two different screen types (4.3-inch and 7-inch). If your screen is unresponsive or shows garbled text, a firmware mismatch is usually the culprit. The correct update fixes this.
