Reverse Osmosis is a latest technology to remove all excess total dissolved solids, chemicals from water up to 95%. It removes bacteria and viruses also it restores the original taste and quality of water. Other purification methods have no effects on TDS level of water.
The R.O. Process uses a semi-permable membrane to remove and reject up to 90 to 95% of impurities and contaminants from water. Contaminants such as Iron, Lead, Nitrate, Magnesium, Copper, Sodium, Bacteria, Viruses and much more can be eliminated using only water pressure.

This was a massive selling point. Vijeo Designer 6.1 was notoriously unstable on Windows 8 and 10. SP5 passed internal validation for Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise (64-bit), eliminating DLL hell issues.
Even with SP5, field issues occur. Here is a rapid fire guide:

The offline simulator (SimuPanel) in SP5 does not support recipe files or USB logging. You must test those functions on physical hardware.

1. User Interface from 2010
The IDE looks and feels dated. Docking windows fight you, font scaling on 4K monitors is terrible, and finding properties often requires digging through modal dialogs instead of a modern property grid.
2. Slow Compilation
Even moderate projects (1000+ variables, 50+ screens) can take 2-4 minutes to compile. SP5 improved this slightly, but it’s still slow. You learn to have another task open. This was a massive selling point
3. Object-Oriented? No.
No inheritance, no user-defined reusable controls (like User Controls in TwinCAT HMI or FactoryTalk ME). Need 20 similar pump faces? You copy-paste each one. Changing a behavior later means editing each instance manually.
4. Alarming & Logging is Clunky
Setting up historical alarms and data logging requires manual CSV configuration, and querying logged data from the HMI itself is painful. No built-in trending library worth mentioning – you’ll roll your own.
5. Emulation is “Good Enough” but Buggy
The built-in emulator works for basic testing, but complex scripts or Modbus communication often behave differently on real hardware. You cannot rely on it for final validation.
6. Schneider has moved on
As of 2023+, Schneider is pushing EcoStruxure Machine SCADA Expert (formerly Citect) and EcoStruxure Operator Terminal Expert (newer, web-based). Vijeo 6.2 is in long-term maintenance mode. No new features, only critical security patches.
Before downloading, verify your hardware. Vijeo Designer 6.2 SP5 supports a specific range of Magelis HMIs. It does NOT support the newer Magelis GTO or HMIBO/GTU series (those require Vijeo Designer 6.3 or EcoStruxure).
