Having the MP3s is not enough. You need a strategy. Here is a weekly study plan using the Linie 1 A1 audio.
German has many silent letters (e.g., geht – the H is silent). Listen to Track 5.6 (typically verbs).
Take a blank sheet of paper. Play a slow dialogue from the early chapters. Try to write down exactly what you hear. It’s hard, but it forces you to distinguish between sounds (like zwei vs. drei). Check your work against the transcripts in the back of the book.
Final tip: For regular self-study, download the full ZIP file to your computer and transfer the MP3s to your phone's music app. This way you can listen offline – perfect for commuting or practicing without an internet connection.
Good luck with your German studies! Viel Erfolg mit Linie 1 A1!
