X96 Mate Firmware

This is where the X96 Mate truly shines. Thanks to the open nature of Amlogic chips and a dedicated community on forums like 4PDA, XDA Developers, and FreakTab, several custom firmware options exist.

In USB Burning Tool, you should see HUB2-1: Connected or similar. If not, try a different USB port or reinstall drivers.

Click Start. The process takes 3–5 minutes. Do not disconnect or power off.

When Burn Success appears, click Stop, close the tool, unplug the USB and power, then plug power back in. First boot may take up to 5 minutes.
