The Plot: Set in Ayasaki City, the story follows firefighter Kenji Narukami, who joins the "A.R.M.Y." (Alchemy Raid Marauder of Yggdrace) to fight the demonic Jamanga军团 (Jamanga Corps). Using "Madan Keys" (Magic Bullet Keys), he transforms into Ryukendo—a flame-based warrior who wields a dragon-shaped sword.
Why it mattered:
Despite its quality, Ryukendo fell into obscurity. The production company, We’ve, primarily focused on toy commercials (Takara Tomy), and the series never received a proper DVD release in Region 1 (North America). Streaming deals expired. By 2015, the show was considered "lost media" by younger fans.
