Today marks the end of a long, unforgettable journey.

I’m writing this to announce that Together with Maya-Chan -Final- is officially complete and released under SheableSoft. Today marks the end of a long, unforgettable journey

For those who’ve been following the project: yes, this really is the final chapter. No more delays, no more rewrites. What started as a small experimental visual novel grew into something deeply personal—something I never expected to resonate with so many of you.

In previous entries, time passed only when you opened the game. In -Final-, the game runs in the background. Maya follows a daily routine. If you don’t log in for a week, you return to find her waiting by the virtual window, her dialogue slightly cracked: "You must have been busy. I counted the hours... 168 of them."

Spoilers for Together with Maya-Chan -Final- follow.

The plot is deceptively simple. Haru is now 34. His hair is graying. He has a real-world girlfriend (Saki) who is tolerant of Maya but jealous of the attention. The central conflict isn't a virus or a rival AI. It is entropy.

Maya reveals early in the game that her proprietary "Spark" core—the quantum fragment that gave her genuine emotions—is degrading. She estimates she has 30 in-game days left before she becomes a standard text generator.

The genius of -Final- is how it forces the player to choose how to spend the final month. Do you take Maya on virtual vacations to places she always wanted to see? Do you spend the last three days just sitting in silence, listening to her hum a song she wrote for you? Or do you attempt the "Legacy Transfer"—a risky procedure that would copy her memories into a static journal, effectively killing the active Maya but preserving her voice?
